The Fall!!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if an egg festival exists. Set aside the pain of egg hitting your skin, the disgust that follows when the yolk bursts and messes all over and finally the most important experience of all... the smell that persists for days after (you might wonder whether I experienced it first hand to be able to describe it so. I have not gone through anything like this, but I know about the stench of the yolk well as I recall applying the egg over my head and hair. “Egg makes your hair healthy”, they say. I tried once, to not try it again๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…). Anyway let’s come back to this. So you would second me when I say that you should be very careful when you carry eggs...very careful!!!๐Ÿ˜œ
Last evening, I was outside my campus in the hopes of getting a few breakfast supplies. A general glance around in the store reminded me that I was supposed to buy eggs. I bought 13 much scrutinised round clean eggs and started my way back๐Ÿคญ. Before I could comprehend the situation, my feet tripped over a stiff, medium sized rock and I was on the jagged and stony footpath. A few bruises and scratches is all ๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‘, but the eggs......... I must admit, I have never seen so much yellow in a white poly bag๐Ÿ˜ง๐Ÿ˜ง๐Ÿ˜ง๐Ÿ˜ง. I got up, too scared to let that yolk dripping poly bag touch me and traced my way back to the shop. The astonished shopkeeper offered me another poly bag to put this one in and discarded the same. It seemed to me later that I probably was wayyyyyyy too determined to buy eggs for I bought another set ๐Ÿ˜•. This time I trod carefully back the same path. Slowly walking with my eyes open for any silly rock that would stop me from taking eggs to my room..... anddddd I was successful in the second attempt!๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

Hard Boiled egg?

#Boiledegg #funinhostel #breakfast

those of us who proudly claim to be non-vegetarians or maybe a step lower (as the pure bred non vegetarians call it) eggetarians, having a boiled egg is a pleasure we indulge in any time of the day. When I am not at home and living in a hostel, I prefer it as a ‘treat’ during my breakfast. Aside from the immense health benefits, there is something about the taste of a simple boiled egg, be it soft boiled or hard boiled with a generous sprinkle of salt and pepper or mixed dried herbs, I for one definitely look forward to an egg most mornings.

I got my close friend also to practice my so called “egg-for-breakfast” routine. While I don’t blame her for what transpired, but this surely was a hilarious incident. Thus, making me ask you the reader, what must I call an egg as such? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜

And so the egg went into the pan filled three fourths with water. The water started boiling in 10 minutes or less and then..... It just kept boiling. With no one to observe to the poor thing, the entire water vaporised, leaving the 2 eggs to fend for themselves in the pan.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ My question... it is’t still boiling right?๐Ÿคจ Anyway, the egg continued to stay in the pan. At the end of over 45 we find a faint sweet odour around the place and a completely white egg turn into one with brown spots. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
Way too over boiled if you ask me.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
